Once you ship this you can't edit the description of the project, but you'll be able to add more devlogs and re-ship it as you add new features!
Did more work on guides (update Blueprint Docker and Quick Start), added unlisted guide support and some more shenanigans 🍳
Another day, another document. I wasn't really able to work on the user dashboard today, so I wrote some documentation instead, which has to get done too.
Turned some Vue code into a component, messed with ngrok and did some more testing. That's it, productivity is on-point tonight.
productivity moment fire emoji
Implemented UI to change your account password! -^ My pace on this project is not going as fast as I hoped I would, worst case we'll release it as a beta and see from there.
Looks awesome!!
Quite a boring devlog and screenshot, but I tried my best ok? I've worked on a modal and spent way too much time animating it. I'll have to turn some other reused elements into components soon. Lots of work left, gotta speed up progress..
yay very cool :3
Did some more shenanigans, like writing documentation and starting on mobile support for the dashboard. I've got some more API routes to deal with now, so more updates soon :3
Implemented 2FA on the sign-in side, added public profile editing and improved account session management. Picking up the pace again, would love to have this finished before the end of Summer of Making 🙃
Worked on handling authentication errors, working on middlewares, writing documentation and other shenanigans 🐕
Starting work on the account dashboard. There's a lot of work still ahead though, but I'm glad I got this stuff down already 🔥
Making an account and signing in? It's more likely than you think. I've spent the hours logged implementing authentication in the frontend, making register/login forms work and fighting with SSR.
More guides, more pages, more docs. It's a lot of work, and I'm not sure if I can get this done before Summer of Making ends, but I can at least try :P
I've been writing a lot.. Guides and documentation are essential for this platform, but they take a lot of time to write. At this point I'm not even sure if I'm halfway the project or nearing the finish line.
Documentation and guides have to get done, even though I don't like doing them. According to our recent survey, we really need to get our stuff together on that part. I've been writing a lot and working on a /about page. Interesting stuff soon, I promise. :P
Been cooking on mobile support and making some preparations for the actual deployment (load balancing, setting up the servers, that kinda stuff). Stuffs coming along :)
This development cycle I've massively improved mobile navigation, both on the Extensions page and navigation bar. Still got a long way to go, but we're getting there. 🐟
Mobile navigation? It's more likely than you think! Gotta make parts of Extensions and Documentation mobile friendlier now and then we shall continue cooking.
I've spent all-day working on Blueprint's extension page. It's coming together, but we're not quite there yet. Oh yeah, Nuxt 4 dropped, so I had to upgrade the project to that 🙃.
Made a bunch of improvements to the extensions page. Just need to polish up everything and make navigation mobile-friendly. (and then we can start working on the accounts and those things 🫠)
It's been a bit since my last devlog. I've done some work on the website rewrite, and made some improvements to the Blueprint CLI. There's now a backend too, it's just our API for the time being, but we'll expand it to have authentication and similar shenanigans. :)
Guides! Responsive! Buzzwords!
New codeblocks and some styling improvements. I might actually rewrite a bunch of guides for this website 😅, wish me luck!!
Added pages for each guide category! I'm probably going to postpone porting (and writing new) guides for the time being, but hey, we've got UI!! 🥳
Guides!! 📚
Blueprint's site rewrite now has a dynamic guides page (with search!). I couldn't get to making banners for all of them yet (or even writing the guides themselves), that'll come later.
Here's a closer look at the site. Still got to get a lot done but we're getting there.
👩🍳🍳 (cooking)
Holly molly. Good job!!!!
Ended up working a little longer on this than expected. Fixed some issues with Chrome's rendering, and made the documentation even better.
Likely will have to rewrite docs a little bit, but that's for future Emma to figure out.
Started working on the documentation (and it's sidebar). Slowly coming together.. might have to rewrite our docs to fit the new format though.. 😭
Authentication page, done. Feedback is definitely appreciated.
Blueprint's website rewrite is slowly coming together. Next up is likely to be documentation, extension discovery or an account overview.
Massive improvements over Blueprint's current website. Aiming to completely finish the platform's new website within the next couple months.
This is beyond a complete rewrite, we are completely re-imagining Blueprint's presence on the internet.
