Event panel, bot and branding! This is a fully custom solution panel for any hackathon to use with some tiny changes, and removes the need for any third party sites!
Use code MIDNCBNDEMO as invite code to log in as demo user
Josh
Check their projects out: For Learning Porpoises, On this day in History
Once you ship this you can't edit the description of the project, but you'll be able to add more devlogs and re-ship it as you add new features!
Ship 2
This ship is currently being voted on by the community. Check back later!
You can now register at events using an invite code provided by organizers! In addition, you can also set minimum and maximum age in DB.
Markdown content is finally rendered! Voting now works, and teams and members are no longer broken. So yeah. Also faster than SoM's (and probably podium's) voting lol.
v2??? :> I've started working on bans (if you go anywhere on the site and are banned, you should be instantly redirected to the Banned page) and allowing changing event name, logos, etc through the environment variables. I'll also start working on voting and invite code signing up soon!
I removed all possible PII and implemented safeguards! (I didn't have any other picture as it's backend so here's the projects page again :D)
I may or may not have coded my own, fully custom, version of SoM for hackathons :3 No voting though (yet :D)! Just hour tracking and devlogs.
Implemented teams! Now you can create teams, manage/leave your team, send join requests... Only part of the join requests functionality pending
Items now show or hide in the homepage following settings! This way you won't see events if that tab is disabled, for example. Also added the ability to show time until beginning of the event instead of until end
Uhhh some hours magically vanished? Huh... here's another logo I guess (the devlog for demo login happened twice)
Added an option to enable/disable certain pages! This will be useful to divide the different event stages
The panel is now available online!!! I also spent waaaaaay too much time fixing eslint errors :3
Profile view! Shows some info about you as well as QR code for when you first arrive to the venue (that way staff can check who you are and if you're allowed to enter!). After the first entrance, that QR will be shown on the user's IRL badge.
Removed all demo data and properly integrated with Notion DB! Also implemented part of the store :D
I didn't want to have to use one of those mid event platforms that are either too expensive or lack features, so... Midnight Cabin will probably use its own! I've finished slack login successfully :D for the UI, I'm using lu.ma as inspiration!
Finished everything bot-related! Also made the repo public, and implemented some more Discord stuff.
I added a bunch of new commands to the Slack bot, and did an actually working DB integration (@ Notion)!
Made a Slack bot! Now users can view their experience points, the team they're a member of, the projects they made...
Finished the logo (w/ different color schemes)! I've started working on banners for branding too.
Finished all the Pamphlet stuff! I won't spoil much (removed all spoilers :D) though. Figma was... very hard to master.
I'll try the leeks to not be big, but, I've created a simple, coming soon site for now, setup Intercom (took ages), created an AI integration from Intercom to Notion to use as support knowledgebase, and currently creating a Pamphlet!
