Tower based obby game I'm making that will be a modernized version of the genre. Made by me, hope to have fun!
How this game works:
Users from my community submit their towers (tall structures filled with parkour) to me, I then implement their creations into one area for everyone to play. Win win win situation, I get players, the builders get recognition, and the players get obbies to go through! These towers range in difficulty from absolutely baby easy to making you want to rip your device in two.

Once you ship this you can't edit the description of the project, but you'll be able to add more devlogs and re-ship it as you add new features!
Initial wave of testing, did the following
Fixes:
Menu now removes itself on death if it had been opened prior
Catastrophic is now spelled correctly on the difficulty chart
Removed poorly placed checkpoints that were kicking people
Fixed webhooks now working by switching to a different proxy
As per their request Sharkesque has been removed from ToWS's credits and the credits menu
Fixed ToWS's canister zone being improperly placed
Fixed leaderboard tower completions not registering by fixing tower data (This does reset your client data somewhat, the old data is there but scripts won't be looking through them as it's been re-formatted, I could fix this one day)
Probably not an issue since no one bought gamepass items yet but the gamepass item giver should work now
Possibly patched an issue in ToIDLY where bouncing on a jump pad could cause you to hit a telporter underneath
Possibly patched a broken push-platform to ToAT
Possibly fixed proximity prompt not working for SC puzzle
Fixed winroom spawn being slightly elongated
Additions:
Updated SC puzzle's hint to make solving the puzzle a but more easy
Added a quick teleport prompt beside ToTT's portal frame
Added some speed parts on the path to the SC puzzle
Brought back future lighting as that didn't seem like the cause of lag
You can now reset by typing !reset in chat.
You can now exit a tower by typing !exit in chat
You can now go back to the ring select (Currently useless since there is only one ring) by typing !return in chat.
You can now rejoin your server by typing !rejoin in chat
Added a !tpPlayer command for myself

Examining lag issues and creating optimizations
Implemented a barrier for when you use an item you're not supposed to use. Glitching through doesn't work as the winpad itself becomes disabled.
Fixed a bug relating to win tracking signs, as seen here jumping on the part simulates completing a Medium difficulty tower
Also modified data related functions
Continuing animation, making it so that you must collect 5 items in order to start the cutscene. Here is one of them (placeholder design).
Utilized this custom proximity gui I had made a long time ago, added a beam that goes from your character to the gui itself.
Created an effect when teleporting around the lobby (There will be a setting to change the flash to black for accessibility)
Tower Rush text is now rainbow coloured!!! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~. After that the name of the first tower will be shown next
Added checkpoints to Tower of Head Slamming.
I got baked like a potato trying to make my own tower so I'm definitely taking a break from that.
Made this platform generator, since this tower is colour themed I was planning for the wavelength of the trail to decrease as you ascended higher.
Continuing gameplay, made this contraption which I will be calling a Lens gate because I based it off a camera aperture.
Had some issues so didn't post as often, anyways making more obbies.
This one I call Tower of Chroma Scaling (More rainbows 🌈🌈🌈)
Added even more containment! Can't be letting people access the hardest challenge in my game too early after all.
Added some stuff to the perimeter of the room for more detail, plus some air conditioning units.
Thingamajig. Will contain something significant soon ;). This is what I'll work on for the next few dev-logs or so.
Added two more server data screens in the middle. (Server winner one does not have code yet)
For the server winners screen:
- Reg = Regular
- SC = Soul Crushing (Essentially really hard obbies)
Added another server data screen that displays how long the server has been running for. I made it a bit more complicated so that each individual digit could pulse on its own!
Continuing with some interior design, this area is the starting lobby and so I must make a good first impression with it!
