Dancing Letter GIF Generator
You know those wacky aah little dancing letter GIFs on Discord and allat? Well as a silly weekend project I made a generator that can turn any word or sentence into a copy-pasteable gif of that sentence made up of dancing letters! What is it good for? Not much. Is it fun? You bet!
Features custom backgrounds (including transparent!), variable width, newline support, numbers and special characters support and much more!

Hi! Actually probably last devlog before shipping this magnificent work of art 😁
As you can see in the GIF, I added colored and transparent backgrounds - no more white background exclusivity :P I also added a theme selector where you can select light and dark theme - it saves in LocalStorage. I might attempt to add replacing the red color of the letters to some other color later down the line, but I dunno how possible that is and if it would even look good.
Hi! Probably last devlog on this project. I added a theme selector (dark and light mode as well as the system setting), which is saved to LocalStorage so it should save your preferred theme. I also added a domain, although right now it just redirects to the IP of the server (sorry about that, I'll try to fix that but hey it works :) ). I might add a background color selector but other than that we're pretty much done :D
Hello! A moderately sized update today as I added all features I planned in the last devlog: The program now has newline support, settable GIF size as well as a bit prettier and handier UI! I honestly don't really know what else I could add so I might just ship :)
Hi! This is my first devlog on this project, and as you can see it's already mostly done (it's not a terribly bit project to be fair :] ). I can generate any sentence I want, and the generator supports all letters of the english alphabet, numbers 0-9 and even a few special characters like !, ?, $ etc. However, it's still pretty barebones and I'd like to add features like generated gif width, newline support etc.
