I added the enemy and grouping like 30 of them coming next! Tried like 5 tutorials for navigation scripts and for some reason after doing a little debugging with print statements the vector navigation calculation and the mesh never works so I think now I am going to make my own nav script for my game specifically.
The player moves now! You can also exit game, sprint, and jump as well. Still this is my first Godot project and im fried cus idk where to go to do anything.
A cool game in Godot where you can't see your enemies but you hear them!
Some of the fonts didn't make sense and looked weird (according to my friend) so I quickly launched an update to fix this
I didn't devlog before because I did this for shipwrecked but can't go anymore but pretty much first 2 hours I worked on functionality, the next hour was on slack ouath, another 2 hours on frontend (which I used AI support), and everything else is time spent on postgres code and deployment issues. Below is a screenshot of one of those errors I got during deployment.
This project is inspired off of r/places which was an expiriment where an individual could place one pixel at a time every 5 minutes and create artwork through teamwork with others. Using Hackatime stats this is designed to be a website for the hackclub community to have a fun incentive to keep coding by allowing them to create projects placing 1 pixel every 5 minutes of coding.
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
