Added music, sound effects, and finished export
Functional leaderboard in main menu and game over screen+ bug fixes related to gameover detection
(If you're planning on making a leaderboard, don't use silentwolf, it's not secure at all)
High score system
Attempted to add input icons to the settings, but ended up cancelling that due to the weird bugs. Added on-screen controls for mobile devices
Updated project settings for higher resolutions, made a background for the gameplay
Fixed UI resolution bug
Attempted making a reactive net and having the hoop morph with it. Ended up cancelling that because the polygon vertices weren't editable.
Installed Maaack's game menus template
Created the game manager to track the score and detect when the player has failed to catch a ball
Made the thrower throw balls in a loop until the player loses. The balls speed up in frequency as the game goes on
Optimized two lines of code into one
200 coins is a speedrun platformer game developed in godot. As the sequel to 100 coins, the world involves different regions, with the coins scattered amongst. In the game, you face enemies such as balloons, beach balls, cacti, and more, of which you defeat to enter the dungeons. Your goal is to collect all 200 coins and defeat the power-hungry antagonist waiting at the end.
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
