I made this game for the game dev track in my school's club. Without internet and it was very challenging. it was very hard to write the code myself without any internet help and also i couldn't make it here on SOM. so i will right all what i did here in this devlog. it was very hard but i made it i draw the coins and the hearts and the snakes first. then i decided to design the first level before anything else so i can take prefabs after it i made all my scripts used for the the game and begun with the move script and i added double jump to it then i made the coin counter script and after i made the restart button after this i made the damage script that makes the player die after three attacks from a snake or one from a spike. after making all the scripts i made more two levels to have three level and the boss level using the prefabs of course after that i started to make the cutscene using unity. it was kinda hard but i learnt it. i made it using timeline sprite in unity and changed each sprite in each frame by myself. and after that all i made the main menu . that is all my journey making this game. It is a VR gallary website that have all my hardware projects till now and you can grap the project and place it in the table to see its image and name. Forgot to add this project while iam working on it but i will add it without just this devlog with all i did. First i leard A-frame and it was kinda hard at begaining it wasn't that ez for me but i got it> then i downloaded all my projects step files and converted them to GLB so i can use them. also downloaded animated 3D models like patrek to add them. and i managed everything and put them in place. then started to work on the THREE.js so i can make interactions like grapping and collision and trigger and so on. after i finished my project by deploying it on github and that is it.
Fixed the Caesar function and built the executables and now ready to submit
just added missing hackatime projetcs
Improved a lot of things and handled errors more effectively.
And added a Help button with a pop-up window.
Finished a lot, and it is ready to try now.
The remaining thing is to add more ciphers and fix the Caesar cipher.
improved the TUI more. Added the ability to open more than one separately, each on its own. and add a confirmation exit box. added two text fields. Added a button to maximize the window and minimize it. Removed the text of the window.
will work more on the functions and the buttons.
I'm working on the TUI rn. finished 4 cipher functions before the event in 8 hours, but it would not be counted, anyway. The TUI is getting better.
A TUI app that decodes and encodes ciphers and cryptos. (BIN, HEX, Caesar, etc.)
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
