Made some basic art and added the main mechanic so I know how to create the future levels. I definitely need to refine the mechanic and possibly the movement before moving on to more complex and time consuming things, such as level design. I'm also definitely going to change the player sprite since it looks a little silly.
Godot game platformer where time slows down until you collect consumables or it fully stops.
Finally finished the game! There were some small fixes that I had to do throughout the project (such as adding or removing a single equals sign) that were very annoying. I'm happy with the final 8 rule project, even if it is easy after you finish it for the first time. I also added the rest of the links to the project so it is now playable. Shipping it today!
Just made rule 4 and thought of an idea for rule 5. Rule 4 took a long time to make, and needed lots of code to finally perfect, even if it wasn't how I originally thought it would be. I may shorten the rules to get this finished quicker.
Finished design and making things (such as the submit button and new rules showing up) much smoother. The red x now changes to a green checkmark if the rule is good, and changes back if it no longer applies. Today wasn't too bad in terms of new additions, but I know I will now go faster due to just needing to make new rules and implementing them compared to focusing on design. The things I need to do next are:
1. Fix rule 3's cap issue
2. Design more rules to make the game more difficult
3. Possibly add more tabs to help the user know what to do
Focused mainly on designing the website, making it look nice to look at and play. made 2 rules so far but only one works. I want to finish the visuals in css and html before moving on to make more complex javascript code, since that will probably take longer for me. I also need to make some transitions so things are smoother.
A game made with html, css, and js based off of the password game on the website neal.fun. You have certain random rules that you have to fulfill to find a username that isn't taken.
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
