Once you ship this you can't edit the description of the project, but you'll be able to add more devlogs and re-ship it as you add new features!
I have finished adding the dialogue!!!!! Now I only have to draw the rest of the sprites and backgrounds and add them in at the right points in the story.
Added MORE DIALOGUE! also replaced a spelling error that i made a lot (cafee instead of cafe) , already had searched for and found 5 instances of it happening before remembering search and replace exists. Also you can now eat explosive flowers (It doesnt affect the story and nothing really happens to you, I just thought some people would like that feature to be in the game.)
surprise surprise
I added the calendar riddle. Now I have to draw sprites for that, but at least the input works. I also figured out how to setup a funny pun i came up with that works with the german language for people that dont speak german: I added a Learn german for kids booklet as an easteregg-ish thing that comes up when you buy a hot chocolate and take the time to sit on the couch and look through magazines.
I have added the second ending that establishes the narrator as entity with free will, I also made text appear gradually to make the games dialogue feel better to read. And I added the portals. It now depends on how nice you were to slow if you get an option to gamble for a good portal or just get the bad portal no matter what.
I added every single one of slows sprites and had to figure out resizing stuff in renpy. which in the end wasnt as complicated as anticipated. Next i will tackle actually changing backgrounds too.
I coded in backgrounds and used a placeholder to determine the main characters position in dialogues etc
More dialogue!! Slow finally shows up! (A character in the story.) I also made the narrator even more fed up with the player character, they now make passive agressive comments whenever you make a stupid or mean decision.
Coded in dialogue and narration and got mentally beat up by renpy for using one semicolon on accident. Expected end of line oh really? me too! /j
With like this, i mean all the first letters uppercase
