It actually works now. Which is kind of the point since up until this point, I was just rewriting what was a static HTML page to now a frontend/backend system. It should function just as it did before, just with our school's new schedule. Tomorrow is the first day of school so we will see how it works.
Basic functionality has been implemented, and I am happy with the features so far. The beat display has been a main focus and something I really wanted.

Actually figured everything out - I've settled on a directory structure and now I just have to actually write the code
Tracks the school schedule for the school I go to; used by 1.3k students but I am rewriting it with express.js
Problem serving is done. A lot of Go code works behind this, including a lot of graphql. Specifically, these questions are fetched as part of an assignment
Allows teachers and students to log in and create/do assignments, that serve questions using algorithms to perfectly tailor problems. AI is used in an age-appropriate educational context to allow students to request limited amounts of problem help.
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
