UI updates for more consistency and working on mobile experience.

Worked on friend feed and making sure things were working properly. Mostly done with the major features. Might redo parts of the UI and UX to make it nicer to use. Also might consider making a mobile app at some point.

Worked on the friend feed to show music your friends are currently listening to.

Added posthog analytics.

Worked on UI and some of the UX

Worked on some of the UI and continued working on getting spotify to work properly. Will continue working on the user experience and the UI and especially adding other users to see what they're listening to.

Been doing more work to the backend, especially trying to figure out spotify api but its rather confusing for me. Also working on getting clerk auth to add a user to the users table.

Figured out auth and now working on the backend for users. Will hopefully soon start working with the spotify and apple music apis to get listening data.

Realized that auth with convex is a bit more difficult so had to work on figuring it out and reading documentation. Decided on doing convex with clerk.

Started work on the project. Initially started with using singlestore db but then decided to use convex and since this was my first time using it, I had to learn and spend a lot of time reading the docs.

Completed the request feeling feature so it sends a message asking the other person how they're feeling so they can fill it out. Also added app icon and fixed smaller bugs and problems. I think its complete!

Started learning react native and how its different from normal react and how it can be used to make a mobile app. Started work on trying to implement the map view from react native maps and fetching data from the aqicn api.

Worked on the ux some more and made sending work! Now it sends how you're feeling and added all the specific emotions based on an emotion wheel so that its easier to express how you're feeling.

Figured out how imessage extensions work and how I could make a simple extension as well as made a simple starting ui.

Improved onboarding experience and hopefully decreased percieved unresponsiveness with loading states.

Implemented main chat features including sending messages, deleting messages, having a username, and seeing all connected users.

I added analytics with posthog, added the ability to delete files, added a proper onboarding page which allows users sign up if they haven't already, go to their drive if they already have one, and if they don't they can create a drive. I will be working on UI, adding and deleting folders, more access control, and improving overall user experience.

Worked on properly connecting the singlestore database and uploadthing. Also added clerk authentication. Learned about ORMs and first time properly using a database in a web app. Switched to using database rather than mock data. Added next js url routing for folders. Added file uploading using uploadthing.
