I'm finally getting through the backlog of 7-day streak letters! https://github.com/hackclub/hackatime/pull/454
After hours of work I now have automations that will upload projects & devlogs into airtable. Next step is to get that into the unified YSWS db
I'm working on all the changes for making the Summer of Making run payouts! https://github.com/hackclub/summer-of-making/pull/600/files. It's not super interesting yet but I just put a screenshot of the current payouts that people are getting to show there's an even distribution to the payout curve!
Added some new API routes so you can now see things like how many hours *per language* did I spend on these two projects. This means we can now do things like this screenshot from Shipwrecked where a reviewer can check how many hours are being done in each language for a project. (this is an example project, the data isn't one of the real Shipwrecked projects)
I know I'm behind on ship certifications! I'm building some automation to make it easier to sort projects & group them so I can certify all of a specific type of project at a time (ie. all rust terminal apps at once, then all the chrome extensions)
Started work on an AI that helps categorize what type of projects are submitted! It's not 100% automating certification types yet, but it's really helping speed up the process!
Added the initial work on ship certification review! It'll go live shortly and people will start getting certification soon. Once we reach 100 certified ships with 10hrs of work we can launch voting!
Just started tracking time for the project even though it's been in the works for 2 weeks already! Posting this just a few min before the GitHub marketing email goes out. We're deployed in prod and I'm just fixing up a couple bugs related to time tracking
This is the rails app that backs summer.hackclub.com. Yes, staff can participate too!
Short change, added the summer of making as an interval so you can https://hackatime.hackclub.com/my/projects?interval=summer_of_making while you https://github.com/hackclub/hackatime/commit/9c10e4710a89e7ab57635a1f7ffd5c17429875ac
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
