all i've done so far was draw a little black pawn and lay out the framework of the files i'm going to use
pass and play chess for the playdate!
Fixed the one glaring issue: whenever a new character spawned, it would ovveridde all collision shapes. now it's fixed tho yay
Today I added the ability to load multiple different characters, (still pretty buggy lol)
now gets image and hitbox width and height from config file. attached is an image of it in action
yesterday, I just added loading of images through reading of yaml files. my goal is to make it easy to add new characters through yaml files like so. and that it will be a fun game, without being too similar to undercity colloseum. attached is an example of a character file

today I basically just started trying to figure out how I going to tackle this, right now it just prints the content as a bytestring
