i initially abandoned this project but i recently got back on it to finish it so i have no devlog and not that much wakatime but here it is, finished.

cleaned up the code a bit and that pretty much it for this project

added checkmate and illegal moves detection, i think im pretty much finished with this simple chess implementation. the player must play black and white though, but i dont have the skills to implement a computer bot.

add moves ! this was quite hard considering every pieces and checks to run

created the repo and started development, its in next.js so im spending time learning how it works. using tailwinds.css and typescripts. right now just a simple chess board but planning on adding moves.

Oauth and accounts here !

created the rep. and base frontend on my website. added a base postgress database on vercel. working on the Oauth rn !
