Restructured the whole project + added timers/stopwatches
I've been working on this for a while -- my latest feature is a Pomodoro timer w/ /pomodoro!
A chrome extension to revolutionize and declutter the new tab page.
Updated the data.json.
Finished the website 💖. I'm honestly quite impressed with my design skills.
Landing page for my new nonprofit.
Made a userscript so people don't have to install the extension!
Made the website
nice the reality app!! try adding some more customization options also expand the readme
uhhh seems like SoM glitched... this type was used in updating the website and the 5-minute-chunk mode.
Added 5-minute-chunk mode, similar to the website.
I was thinking to have a whole section about this, but decided to just have a small footnote at the bottom.
Made a website that has a similar idea.
Added a GUI because there were too many -- flags... looks pretty nice imo
Added a lot of customization options.
Got the MVP product working and it even sets the backgroud :yay:
Visualize time like never before. Make every "circle" count.
Tried to add sleep but couldn't... but got the next best thing... DARK MODE :yay
Added this epic map view that was surprisingly easy to implement.
Upgraded the index page + navigation bar
Made a landing / demo page
Added a Pomodoro page!
Updated the shop and added DPS rankings.
Greatly approved the website's design.
Added image filters using numpy and PIL!
It stopped working when I deleted the CONFIG folder, but after fixing some bugs, I got it to work!!!!
Added a gallery (and a custom icon :) )
Added tints, custom fonts, and overhauled the whole UI!
Got the weight tracker working :yay:
Split up my file into client.py and script.py, one that's a GUI and another thats just a script users can run with crontab.
I got an inital prototype working! The creator of the original YSWS intended it for Windows, which is a lot easier to use. On MacOS, you have to run a subprocess which creates an AppleScript that changes the background. So far, I've added time, weather, and a greeting.
Everyone loves Wallpaper Engine... but it isn't available for Mac :why: ... so I made just that! Furthermore, you can add widgets ON TOP of your wallpaper.
OMG OMG OMG I FINALLY GOT THIS WATER TRACKING WORKING. THIS TOOK WAYYYYYYYYY TOOO LONG. Originally, I wanted to have a pixelated water bottle that fills up. I just couldn't get it to work, unfortunately.
I made images.py, but it doesn't seem feasible at the moment.
Added CDN support after a lot of struggles... now I realize this feature is pretty useless for most, as you could use #cdn on the Slack.
Added support for viewing statistics and setting goals.
Today, I worked on the steps page. So far, it shows your daily steps. You can set up running sessions as well. I'm really trying to focus in on the design aspect.
(I have attached a simulator screenshot, but it works on my local phone)
The ios build didn't work and I tried a million things, but turned out clearing the cache did the trick!
now fingers crossed Apple just approves my project
Made some app icons and fixed some bugs with the app not uploading to App Store Connect. I don't really like the App Icons I have made... the og looks pretty good ngl
An app to help control your wellness and health.
Added haptics... wow this was easier than expected but adds a whole new dimension to this app.
(idk how to display in an image how the haptics work)
Added this epic navigation hamburger. I tried to have flashier animations, but it just felt buggy.
Added a shipment-viewer page for the new Mail API! The bottom Navbar looks disgusting now:
Added a personal Scrapbook page to view your scraps!
Added scraps.tsx; a place to view people's scraps in Scrapbook.
I attempted to add push notifications, but realized I would need to pay for a server. I did make the Nav Bar better though!
so the app broke again for some reason and I had to change up some libraries I was using. now its fixed! I also added icons and stuff. this screenshot took me like 10 tries
Tried to get widgets to work but couldn't... its super late and I just pushed an update that allows the Hackatime graphs to actually function. Very sad :(
Added events.tsx! See upcoming events happening around Hack Club :)
Greatly improved the YSWS page with deadlines and pins. I'm trying to add push notifications, but it seems like I have to create a project from scratch :skull:
Added a share button to the Hackathons and YSWS pages. Its wayyyy easier in Expo than with Flutter.
There was a MASSIVE error in which the iOS version of the app wouldn't work. However, I fixed it with a bunch of random commands lol.
I changed glyphview to use the newly fragmented Python helper files. I had to completely refactor glyphpost to not use classes, so I could import the files over. (side note: the 3 lines of code I have shown in the picture required 150+ lines of refactoring)
Fragmented everything into neat files!!! This is going to be sooooooo much easier to debug :yay:
Fixed a text overflow error and changed the boring old home page.
Drastically improved the YSWS page.
I greatly improved the hackathons page. Users can now pin certain hackathons and view a countdown.
I added two more graphs. I thought I had a bug where the graphs would overflow on smaller phones. However, I later realized that starting off with a small window would automatically resize the div... so nothing to be worried aboutW!
Added this graph for the past 7 days... I think I should add more graphs.
Finally got Hackatime.tsx working! This took soooooooo long because I was originally trying to add Slack SSO.
An unofficial Hack Club app, made in Expo.
idk why adding YouTube stats is just sooooo difficult. The main problem is that main.py is simply too big. I think I'll focus on fragmenting it up first...
ok this should not have taken this long. I originally wanted to use the youtube API. However, it did not work for some reason. Idk... I watched a bunch of YouTube videos (lol) on how to use the API, but it seems like they weren't updated for the new name system. So... I just ended up scraping. It isn't 100% legal, but at the scale of my application, it most likely will be fine.
Added support for glyph-post -t header/title -m message... took way longer than expected for some reason.
Added new file called glyph-view. Users can now run glyph-view -u 'pizzalover125' and view that person's profile. :)
Improved the website design with these floating glyphs and fixed another security leak.
Added Show More button and added more stats
Coded this basic website and made a basic guide!
An upcoming Hack Club YSWS about making cases!
I just manually entered every single product and price in the Shop. Wow, that feels amazing.
This took wayyy longer than expected, but I got it working! I've added more detailed hour estimates for projects.
Detailed statistics about everything regarding SoM prices.
Finished the website! This was supposed to be a speedrun, so its a bit sloppy.
JUST ADDED THIS PROJECT TO PYPI!!!! It took wayyyyyy longer than expected, but here we are! Simply run pip install glyphsh and get started :) .
I just got the client and server code working! I feel like an engineer lol
A simple pizza clicker game. Nothing more; nothing less.
I initialized the GitHub repo, so i am posting this dev log! So far, I've set up signing up, logging in, logging out, creating a user profile, and viewing other user profiles.
a terminal-based social media service. for hackers, by hackers. pip install glyph-sh to get started.
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
