This is actually me porting it over from Jet fund. I was originally going to do, but never submitted this project to the Jet fund, thus the 8 hour devlog. Pretty much what it is, is it's an Android app that will fetch your repo's and allow you to view stats about them etc. This is my first Android app in years, so I'm going back slowly, and building a fun app! I've gotten auth, and getting the backend ready for the app so far.
After 3d printing v1, there were a few small issues like the EC11 hole was too small, and I wanted to cut out the pins for the SSD1306, along with fixing some fillet issues around the case. These are all fixed in v2 now.
Kinda forgot to add the V1 one, but this is the v2, and the main difference is I started work on a custom ball joint, and also made the phone holder take up a lot less filament since it was quite bulky. In the V1, I also added a custom rail system (which is shown in the video) to allow the top part of come off to slide in the phone, and then slide back one to lock back in.
This is a custom made ball-jointed CAD model to hold my phone onto my bike.
Home UI looks a lot better now. I also did some UI for the viewing a post, and making a new post along with the UI for the Home Screen.
Worked on Ruby on Rails CRUD for the blog site. I also, got the ability to render the partial on the homepage.
The button goes from home and about via a variable link in Ruby on Rails. Nothing crazy.
Finally learning some Ruby on Rails! I'm making a blog website while learning a new coding language!
Added a mechanism to push down the buttons even when the buttons are too short (it's not just a square ;)). I also added a slot on the side for the USB-C input for data and power.
Make most of the case so far. I did everything besides for the usb-c which I am working on now. Even the push button has a spring (sort of) to allow me to push a shallow button all the way down.
This is a new case for my Highway project which is a WIFI calendar for school!
This really only deserves one dev log since it was just a case... I and my brother learned OnShape, and though the best first thing to make is a case for my first PCB! - A USB-Hub. It took us 2 3d-prints/iterations to get it right, but now it houses our PCB!
This is a case for my first ever USB Hub PCB designed in OnShape!
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
