I did read your notes and tried downloading but idk why I can't download it :(
Custom indentation yay!! Supports redo and undo (Albeit relying on a deprecated functions... I'm sure its fine)
As they say, feature not a bug... Dialog closes when importing data, still can't figure out why but hey, if it works, it works and you don't touch it ! Anyways, revamped the theme selector and allowed for import/export.
How'd this take 4h? No clue. Was fixing random bugs across the place and wanted to implement something that I never got around to doing. Anyways sidebar is now complete and you can properly rename notes.
Honestly I don't know what to say... Some overhauls of things internally and implemented a proper search (With a library cause I got lazy lmao). Project is almost done though... All I have to do is add a sidebar to edit the names and show some stats, etc, allow people to delete notes and finally maybe spend 2h trying and failing to create a tab supporting textarea :)
You can now save notes to indexedDB and also switch to different notes!!
Successfully saved stuff to indexedDB!!! There are wayyyy to many promises being thrown around... oopsies :)
A https://typehere.cc clone with more functionality and better UI (Please read the README.md on the github)
Weeeeeee I think it's finally reading for shipping !!
Just updated the readme popup on the website :)
Custom CSS :)
Also to clear some things up because I completely forgot about it in the previous dev posts, this project was started ages ago before SOM so there's some features I haven't mentioned in my dev posts.
Going to go polish some things up and make some cool demos now :)
Will hopefully ship soon...
I'm lowkey kinda slow at this :(
Anyways, news widget, time progress widget and quote the widget done :)
The entire widget system is now 100% functional 🎉🎉 (I may have forgotten about adding the widgets themselves last dev post oops)!! Time to continue to make more widgets :)
Well probably should do a dev post around now... Widgets now exist!! You can now change the ordering and modify the widgets settings in the settings menu. Was a bit annoying and the design of the code for it is... not the best to say the least, but everything works. More widgets to come :)
I've spent an hour testing random draggable tile libraries... None of them worked great...
I will proceed ahead with the widgets anyways and pray that gridstack.js updates their react support soon or I will write my own library 😭
UI overhaul !! Mostly changed the settings UI and a few tweaks in the javascript to change the way things are being saved :)
Also mildly changed the colour scheme
Literally just added variables to roots
I pretty sure I need a devlog or else my time is gone :pensive:
Yea, I'm still bad at UI design :(
Made a preferences UI in figma... Took too long 😭
Developing UI on figma :)
Turns out I'm not that good at UI design lmao
Custom homepage built in NextJS that supports widgets and custom search prefixes, utilizing LocalStorage for maximum data privacy.
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
