there were issues with deployment as i had reset the token , somehow nest was not refreshing and using the old token from env file fix all of that
it seems there was a bug in the database where deleting and readding hunts was not possible due to how backup worked , debugged and fixed that
I forgot to create a project and post devlogs as i thought i could not double dip this with converge but im almost done with the bot at this point
i used sqlite and javascript to built it (d.js)
it allows you to run cryptic hunts in your own server with only minimal config and setup
Completed v1 and fixed minor bugs alongside a logo
i completed the language and added support for importing modules!
further wrote the docs and worked on a cli tool to run the language
biggest challenge so far was getting the interpreter to work and correctly spit out errors which were not python errors or edge cases.
oops i forgot to update and the waka projects
uh i started working on the docs side by side and started with design and ideation aswell
grinding and submitting a v1 to twist hopefully by tomorrow or day after , interpreter + half parser + some error handling left
Parser work and syntax tree to handle and work along with parser
finished the ast part and halfway done with the parser
ai honestly helped me a lot this session especially with function calling as that took too much time where it either called the function without args or messed up the function and kept the args
erm actually it seems my parser can't handle my lexer so a bit of work on that and then restart WORKING. also introduced a test which runs in background after every big change to make sure i did not fuck up somehow
i finished the lexer it can detect keywords and stuff now time to sprint work on the parser and finally interpreter
wrote a quick test along with a bug fix
worked on tokens and defining my toke class started stuff with lexer aswell
got basic calculation done and printing
LinkedIn inspired language which is actually surprisingly fun to write AI helped with writing tests for the language
fixed an oppsie bug with polyfill and cross browser stuff and ai prompts not working
completed version 1 and submitted to browser buddy , need to unify design and rewrite some code to make this user friendly
implemented a really buggy review board for long sessions
still can't handle urls outside of nested ones for some reason and occasionaly glitches out for some reason and the buttons don't work but uh time to fix it
add animations to all elements + space out and give almost everything breathing room
tried like 3 CTA card designs , integrated one finally which looks and feels good turns out something simple is the best thing sometimes.
complete readme & add license & some branding stuff to update
also animated and set conditions for to top button to make it unintrusive
develop a mobile version aswell slightly different and perform cleanups (again)
setup email redirects aswell instead of team page
TLDR: Complete and ready to ship
Overhaul the design a bit and unify everything cleaning up code and removing redundant stuff. Change identity from original placeholder and design gradients.
Add a new button for back to top and change some copywriting
Done with the core & Making the branding for extension. Only some QOL improvements and random bugs with graphs to be fixed. Oh and i could always do better with css
A slick browser extension to trace your web journey with graphs and get a recap of your browsing sessions!
worked on a custom page for team members
A sleek and elegant website for a non-profit production house designed and developed from scratch
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
