initial devlog! also the token count is only broken because the database is not linked on prod (which i have no access to), but the code works!

i own the current rewrite of it (code at /wackclub/ai). it is a lot more transparent now (ai.hackclub.com is just a wrapper around an ai inference provider called groq) with docs at https://ai.hackclub.com/docs and supports the full breadth of the OpenAI / Groq /chat/completions API.

Rewritten in Rust & way faster, with a new docs page and status. You can try out my build of it now (link attached), it will be live on production eventually and hopefully (@ cdn.hackclub.com). The code is available as a pull request on the GitHub repo. Banner credits to msw!
Pikolang
Minimal, cute, turing-complete 1 letter keyword language (it can run entirely out of your browser, thanks to WASM)! There are no numbers: if you wish to do math, the string literals you provide will be treated as bijective base26 numbers! You can chain some operators (like io, input output, which stores the input and also prints it!).
New documentation, fixed a LOT of bugs, ready to ship (basically!)

Broadly it is functional! Working on getting it posted.
First log! Bringing the first prototype to life right now. We have 16 endpoints that need testing. It's already in a pretty good state!
Summer the Explorer
A better (and faster) API for the Summer of Making. Smart/Vector search (like Google!) for Devlogs, Comments & Projects. Detailed leaderboard data and faster responses. Timely caching. Usable playground and good documentation. Filtering endpoints available to filter by date, time, user, slack id etc. This is a full end-to-end tool to build your own SoM data project!
This was widely regarded as a great move by everyone.
