spent a lot of time figuring out why production website couldn't fetch data, again unrelated picture

optimized article retrieval and fixed a bug where news articles wouldn't reload properly (picture unrelated)

added sorting and filtering sources (though not many sources cause my api is mostly paywalled)

basically finished backend and almost frontend except for filtering news based on sources

made a cool app icon and fixed some bugs

added new vocab score screen for future content (also there is a dark mode but it is not shown)

(ui design is so hard)

just made starting ui!! (and a bunch of data stuff behind the scenes) it's pretty empty cause I was working on the local database but the buttons got cool animations
