Created the basic UI with a functional pomodro timer and to-do list. I just need to work on the design and making the user interface look better now :) I also want to include a section with some study tips so I'll do that later
Pomodro Study Tool
A website that has both a pomodro timer and a to-do list to help students study more effectively!
Embedded some of the Scratch games I've made into a new section called Game Design Journel! Also made some minor tweaks on writing
Added a section to include all the programming languages I'm fluent in!
RE-STYLED EVERYTHING! I changed the theme from pastels and pink to a NYC, city, futuristic vibe! Also changed the colors of the sparkle cursor to match
Made quite a few fixes!
1) I tweaked the typing effect header a bit
2) Moved the falling hearts so instead of them falling on top of the boxes and blocking the words they fall behind
3) Made the buttons actually work and take you to the designated section
4) Made the favorites section!! It's a little short but I'll add to it soon
Added falling pink hearts on my website! I just thought they looked fun and cute, and gave my website a touch of my personality
Created a fun sparkles/confetti cursor to personalize my website a bit more to my likings! It took me a while to figure out how to create it, but after searching the internet I got a basic understanding of how to create my own cursor.
I grinded for half an hour and created the basic website layout + styling! I also used JS to create a typing effect for the header, and filled in the About section with some basic stuff about me. Next I'm going to continue writing up the About section and start work on the Favorites section where I'll detail some of my favorite things like favorite food, song, etc
Get to Know Me!
Get to Know Me is a website that tells you all about me, Aanya! It includes an about section where I listed some information about me and a favorites section where I list some of my favorite things. To navigate to the different sections, either scroll through the website normally or you can click on the buttons at the top. Some fun things I included in my website is falling hearts in the background and a sparkles cursor! Try out the cursor for yourself, just drag your mouse around and you'll notice that there are little sparklers moving with your mouse. I hope this website was helpful and got you guys to know me better!
EasyGPA
About EasyGPA: EasyGPA is a GPA calculating web-app. It can calculate both your weighted and unweighted GPAs based on just the number of classes you are taking and your grades in each of them! EasyGPA includes an aesthetic sunset themed UI to ensure that the web-app is pleasing to the eye and not just plain white (which is pretty boring to the user). EasyGPA has been proven to be 100% accurate, and if you don't trust me, you can compare your GPA calculated by EasyGPA with your GPA on your report card (when you receive it). They should be exactly the same!
Fixed a bug in the go to buttons (as spotted by someone on the summer-of-making-help Slack channel)
Created a banner for my webapp (can't upload it to the actual banner section of my project so I'm just attaching it here)
AP Study Tool
AP Study Tool is exactly as it sounds -- a tool to help each individual succeed on their AP exams! I was inspired to make this project, as this year when I was studying for my exams, I realized there are not many resources available online. All the resources I found were very boring, and I got distracted easily from them because they had a plain white UI. To solve this issue, AP Study Tool uses an aesthetic pink UI theme to ensure that students do not get distracted by a boring old UI when studying for their AP exams. The web app explains big ideas, includes helpful resources, and may even have an AI helper in the future! Although it doesn't have EVERY single AP exam on it, the website offers resources for the most popular AP exams available. Happy studying, and I hope AP Study Tool helps you ✨ slay ✨ your exams!
