A dual stepper motor controller with built-in USB-C 100W Power Delivery. It is compatible with Stepper Motor Driver Modules from 3d Printers and supports all advanced features modern Stepper Motors can do like UART communication, Microstepping up to 1/256 and much more. As it has the form of a HAT (Extension Board for Raspberry Pis) it can also communicate to RPis and make more computationally intensive tasks like computer vision possible.

Once you ship this you can't edit the description of the project, but you'll be able to add more devlogs and re-ship it as you add new features!
The PCB is now finished and ready for prod. I also hosted a competition on slack for people to submit and vote on memes to put on the back of my board (see picture). I already got a grant for the silicon ysws and am now waiting for some pre-ordered components to arrive at the manufacturer as unfortunately there was one part I couldn't replace with an in-stock alternative.
I finally finished the revamped version (v2). It now includes an MCU to better control the motors and has support for 100W USB-C. I finished the BoM. (Almost) all parts should be available at both LCSC and Mouser.
Ok so I didn't cook yesterday(now technically 2 days ago) I initially wanted to speed-run a project for the Highway YSWS buuuuuut I forgot I had to also post a lot of documentation which I didnt write doing this in one day. Today I kind of
scrapped the old design. The new design now has an extra MCU on the PCB to
handle all the motor stuff and also UART communication with the motors.
I will completely need to redesign my PCB so in the attachment you will
see my old version one last time.
After having almost deleted the entire project when I used git revert thinking it would preserve my stuff but undo the commit the basic wiring should be finished now
