__BinaryCounter__
My submission for Pathfinder and my second ever hardware project.
It has 4 Key-switches and 4 LEDs which work together to count in binary (base 2). There is also an OLED screen that displays your count in decimal (base 10) number system. SW1 - increases count, SW2 - decreases count, SW3 - Resets count and SW4 - toggles light/dark mode.
Made this project in a hurry since pathfinder ends on august 1st so I designed the PCB to be compatible with any projects I might think of.

Finished writing the firmware for this project and sorry for the DEMO. I don't know how to show DEMO for a hardware project without hardware. Maybe my next project?

Update attachment

Finished making the PCB. Asked a lot of people and they said CR2032 is not sufficient for this king of project.

Not final placement but decided to use an OLED screen as well as add one MX Switch and LED as well as resistor. I am trying to make a calculator that functions using these keys. I might change my idea later so I am going to make the placement of the components somewhat universal. (Maybe like arrow keys if I decide that the buttons should be used for navigation) I am making these assumptions to make the thing flexible if I want to make something else with it. (I will add a battery holder of it is allowed)

Update attachment

Added 3d models.
The tutorial on the website says onto coding the firmware so I'm going to see if I could make mine more unique.

Update attachment

Following the tutorial from to get started on my project.
I have made the schematics for the PCB.
