btwArch is a custom mechanical macropad designed because I use Arch btw. This hackpad features a sleek design with customizable keys, RGB lighting, and modern connectivity options to enhance your workflow.
Built as part of the HackClub 2025 initiative, this project serves as both a functional tool and a learning experience in PCB design, 3D modeling, and firmware development.

Once you ship this you can't edit the description of the project, but you'll be able to add more devlogs and re-ship it as you add new features!
btwArch is a custom mechanical macropad I developed because—well—I use Arch btw 😄. This project was created as part of the HackClub 2025 initiative and was my very first experience with the club.
The macropad includes RGB lighting, 3 fully customizable keys, and modern connectivity options. I designed the case using CAD tools with a clean, minimal aesthetic and manufactured the PCB with optimized routing and ground planes. For firmware, I used KMK to enable key macros and lighting effects.
Working on this project taught me a lot about 3D modeling, PCB design, and microcontroller programming. It’s been an amazing learning experience from start to finish.
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of HackClub—it was a lot of fun and a huge step forward for me
