I'll try and make something like subway surfers, i'll try to add some unique features as well!

  • hoverboard is now fully functioning! -added some sound effects(more to come!)

-added hoverboard(90% done and working)

-hopefully fixed issue where some keys don't register depending on keyboard layout
-switched to new input system package in hopes of resolving the issue mentioned above

-added controls explanation to menu
-made more objects spawn so game is a little harder
-added crouching(doing it mid air makes you fall faster like in the original game, this is necessary to use in some scenarios)
-fixed bugs to get ship certified hopefully
-objects don't spawn instantly after starting to make starting easier

  • made it so touching walls ends the game -basic ui -score: +10 when each new road segment generates -last devlog before shipping! the project still needs a ton of improvement but the basic stuff works

-made endless scrolling better
-made a shader to make the road look curved(ran into issues so probably won't be used
-rewrote some code

i accidentally deleted the project, so i had to recreate it, but we are back! 🔥 changes:
- obstacles now spawn in different variants(train, barrier)
- the road now moves(needs improvement)
