I mainly just put the brunt work into getting the website ready to be public.
As a part of this, I had to do 3 main things:
- Add responsive styling for different screen sizes (this was painful)
- Add styling for light mode
- Make adjustments to improve Lighthouse scores (e.g., converting a lot of images to webp)
P.S., sorry for likely burning your eyes with the light mode image (but it shows that I actually implemented a light mode!)
I mainly just added lots of new content!
I added an 'About Me' section, a section showcasing my skills, and a section highlighting my hobbies. And, I had to update some dependencies and stuff (cause I originally made this website a long time ago).
Also, I've improved the image marquee by switching to CSS and adding a placeholder so it doesn't look ugly when the images load in!
I have now added a scrolling marquee of images showing people a little about me!
I tried making it take up the remaining vertical space on the screen, but it was very finicky with the images, so I just gave them a static height.
I've finally started to update my personal website again (my last commit was over a year ago)!
I first had to fix my git repository branch structure (it was a mess to deal with), and it is good now. I added some privacy-friendly Umami analytics, then added a section showing off some of my best/biggest projects!
