Timeline
Ok so my last 2 devlogs didn't work so I'll summarize them:
I accidentally submitted the same screenshot twice last devlog, I meant to show a video of it working (which you can see here)
I reduced the background blur and scaled it up so the white parts aren't visible. I also added a subtraction mask to the text so it always contrasts against the background regardless of color, and I think this is ready to submit!
Ok so I just updated the website with a background of the blurred front image, replaced the image with my actual dog, and uploaded a bunch of images with numerical names (1-49). PowerRename is a godsend.
Updated the text AND added a surprise feature that you'll just have to click on if you want to know......
Just to start out this short spur-of-the-moment coding adventure, I'm trying to match the initial look of the random.dog website. I definitely will not keep it this way, but I wanted to start with at least the basic look and feel of it.
